Candidate Endorsements - Get Out The Vote!!!

Loudoun4All is proud to endorse the following candidates.  We ask that you support their candidacy with your vote and, if possible, a contribution to their campaigns appreciate all these candidates for their hard work and their pledge to support equitable and inclusive policies for all of Loudoun and the commonwealth!

Wendy Gooditis – 10th District

Thank you so much for everything you do to promote equity in Loudoun County and across the Commonwealth. Since I was elected in 2017, I have worked tirelessly to pass legislation that makes Virginia a welcoming, safe, and inclusive place for all. In office, I have sponsored and voted for bills to protect the LGBTQIA+ community, including HB 401 in 2018, a bill to ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, banking, public accommodations, and other areas of public and private life. I also voted in favor of the Virginia Values Act and HB 386 to ban conversion therapy.

I am proud to have earned the endorsements of HRC and Equality Virginia in all of my campaigns and look forward to continuing to be an advocate of equity in the General Assembly.

Paul Siker – 33rd District

Whether addressing day-to-day issues such as traffic congestion, broadband connectivity, or healthcare accessibility, or continuing our progress in making Virginia a more tolerant, diverse, and welcoming community, I pledge to be a Delegate who will strive to thoughtfully consider and act upon the needs of all of my constituents so that they truly have a voice in Richmond.

I support microloans to provide more opportunities for the BIPOC community, particularly with respect to launching small business enterprises.

I support additional investments into student loan programs as well as workforce development and vocational training programs for historically marginalized communities to ensure that everyone has a viable pathway to high quality, good paying jobs.

I support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that support Loudoun County becoming a more tolerant and inclusive community.

I support expanding the use of Ranked Choice Voting, which is a proven method of increasing diversity in our electoral process.

Last, if elected, I pledge to hold monthly community forums to ensure that constituents have opportunities to discuss the issues that most concern them in our district so I can effectively represent the 33rd in Richmond.

Irene Shin – 86th District

I am committed to supporting our entire LGBTQ+ community, not just here in Loudoun but across the Commonwealth. Whether a student is out, navigating their own gender identity, or fully closeted, all students deserve to be treated with respect. I plan on working closely with parents, teachers, and students to make sure Virginia schools are a safe and affirming environment for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. We must take an intersectional approach to ensure that Loudoun County, and our Commonwealth, is safe, equitable, and free from discrimination for our LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities

If elected to the Virginia House of Delegates, I intend to be engaged and involved in addressing the concerns of historically underserved and marginalized communities. I believe it is incumbent upon an elected official to proactively support legislation that enables all of their constituents to live their best and most productive lives.

Suhas Subramanyam – 87th District

Fully supports policies that promote safe and equitable opportunity for all Loudoun residents.
